LIFE IN THE TERRAN REPUBLIC

The galactic governing body of the human species.

Based on their home planet of Earth, humankind controls roughly 20% of the known galaxy.

Theirs is a government on the brink of turmoil. Splintering factions and a growling secession effort strive to divide a governmental system that has brought harmony to humankind of centuries. Open piracy exists where there was once free commercial shipping.

Many concede that a civil war is brewing and there may be no stopping it.

THE MAURIDIAN EXPEDITIONARY FORCES

LIFE IN THE MAURIDIAN EMPIRE

The former empire of the Nummidians based out of Nummidia Prime. Now in control of their clone descendants, the Mauridians.

Their empire expands some 22% of the known galaxy.

Having only been in power for a few short decades, the Mauridians are struggling to both legitimize their sovereignty in the Galaxy and solidify their power at home.

Warlords from the preceding regime still strive to regain their lost power. Others look to cause a catastrophic war that would destroy the empire entirely. Still others seek profits from this ensuing chaos at the expense of peace.

THE KHARADORN ROYAL NAVY

LIFE IN THE KHARADORN EMPIRE

From her throne on Reorrlorak the Kharadorn Queen demands the devotion and servitude of all of her subjects across their empire. It is a government that has existed since the beginning of Kharadorn written history. It is a tradition that all Kharadorn would gladly give their lives to defend.

Their empire has expanded to roughly 12% of the known Galaxy.

Bitter enemies of the Nummidian, and now Mauridian Empire, they are poised to drive their invasion forces deep into that troubled realm. They seek only the a sign from the Terrans, with whom they have an uneasy alliance.

Perhaps this alliance may not be enough to hold the Kharadorn Hunter Fleets from destroying their age-old rivals.

THE DEISHO PEOPLE'S DEFENSE FORCE

LIFE IN THE DEISHO CONFEDERATION

Xenophobic and paranoid, the Diesho people have long lived under the totalitarian rule of "The Party." Theirs is a life of turmoil and suffering, for The Party is as unforgiving as it is ambitious. The entire life of a Deisho commoner is that of fueling the ever expanding Deisho Military Machine.

Controlling roughly 10% of the galaxy with an iron fist, the Deisho maintain an a strained relationship with their neighbors, the Onadai Provinces and the Terran Republic.

For hundreds of years, the Deisho have been quiet, maintaining an isolationist mentality toward the rest of the Galactic Community. However, recent years have witnessed heightened activity along the volatile Deisho borders. Many feel that the worst is yet to come...
